Dr. Xiao Zhang is a technical advisor at Hulsey, P.C. Dr. Xiao Zhang obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Brown University in 1999. Following that, he joined Trilogy to build eCommerce solutions for both dot-com and Fortune 500 companies. After joining IBM in 2001, Dr. Zhang worked on building a global team from India, Singapore, Europe, China, and the US to develop and deploy IBM end-to-end global integrated supply chain, streamline operation, and improve efficiency.
Dr. Xiao Zhang has served on the Selection Committee for the Central Texas Regional Center for Innovation & Commercialization under The State of Texas Emerging Technology Fund Program since its inception.
Dr. Xiao Zhang is focused on building the China-US relationship in both the public and private sectors and facilitating communication between executives and government officials; for example, Sarah Miller; Warren Buffett; former TX Secretary of State Geoff Connor; Yuanchao Li, China CPS Chairman, etc.
In June 2009, Dr. Zhang made the City of Nanjing and City of Austin became friendship city after connecting both mayors from the two cities. He organized top executives both from Nanjing and from Austin to visit the other city shortly after. He was also appointed as the business ambassador for the City of Nanjing in 2010.
Dr. Xiao Zhang served as a member of Advisory Board for Genesis Technology (a US public company) from 2004 to 2007. He also helped a few other companies going public including Concord Medical Services in New York Stock Exchange in Dec 2009.
