IP PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Temple received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Math from Rice University in 2004. During college, he interned at a laser laboratory at the Navy’s SPAWAR Systems Center in San Diego, CA. For his senior thesis project at Rice, he built a grating-locked diode laser system for strontium spectroscopy, which was eventually used in a laser-cooling experiment involving ultracold neutral plasmas.
